There are many types of foot ‘lumps and bumps’ that can occur either as a congenital or acquired condition. The most common ones include:

  • Bunions

  • Corns

  • Heel bumps

  • Ganglions

  • Cysts

  • Bone spurs

  • Lipoma, Fibroma and Neuroma

For many of these conditions early diagnosis and treatment with a preventative care programme  will likely prevent a worsening of the condition and avoid a more invasive surgical treatment.

Where non-surgical treatments have been unsuccessful, however, it may be appropriate to consider surgery. For conditions such as these surgery is generally a successful and permanent solution.
